Alexandru is a young investment analyst with a background in entrepreneurship, earning a Bachelor Degree in Entrepreneurship  from the Entrepreneurship Academy in 2020.

Early in his career, Alexandru served as a COO for a transportation-tech startup (Kopilot by Smart Diesel), where he helped launch a digital application for trucking operations. This gave him firsthand experience in the logistics tech domain, aligning well with Omnia’s focus on digital transformation in transport. 

At Omnia, Alexandru handles industry research, preemptory financial analysis, and deal sourcing support. He is adept at building situational models and is often the first to evaluate incoming business plans. He also manages the internal CRM of potential targets and maintains our “data-driven” approach to sourcing (tracking dozens of targets and their financial metrics). 

Alexandru has a passion for analyzing how businesses can scale and is motivated by a desire to help companies unlock their full potential. His analytical rigor and fresh perspective on technology trends are valuable for the team. Under the guidance of the senior members, he also leads the implementation of certain tools (like OrgXO—an organizational analysis software the team uses) in portfolio companies, enhancing their organizational structures.
